I’m a UX/Product Designer, currently working in NY. I have designed complex and functional web products for B2C and B2B organizations. I've helped teams to better understand their users' needs, and created experiences that support user and business goals. I like designing for complex workflows and making them more accessible and approachable, and focus on a research and data-informed design approach.
If you want to know more about me, know more about what I’m working on, or talk about working together, feel free to look at my resume or email me. I am currently open to in-house and freelance opportunities.
The specific steps I take on any project always depend on the project goals, resources, and the team I’m working with. But on a higher level, I approach my work in a pragmatic and straight-forward way, with consideration for the context of how a product is used and made. I account for all of the goals and contexts involved with a product, including the internal experience of creating it.
I focus on defining the problem being addressed from multiple perspectives, understanding user needs and internal needs through quantitative and qualitative research, and establishing a framework for creating and evaluating design solutions in the short and long-term. My process prioritizes lots of collaboration and synthesizing information, and contributing to strategy by aligning business goals with user goals.
Yes, I do create mockups, prototypes, JIRA tickets, presentations, strategy documents as a part of my process. Regardless of specific tools, I use whatever skills and techniques will best help me communicate with teammates and stakeholders to quickly go from idea to usable experience.
